Our solutions
In today's competitive markets, obtaining the maximum yield from your lumber is

The two types of tropical hardwoods stocked by CPC are Iroko and Sapele.
Iroko
Considered in this country to be the most ideal inexpensive tropical hardwood for exterior use. Largely used for doors, windows and frames.
We carry in stock all thicknesses from 1” through to 4” in random specification. We also have some fixed sizes available such as 2” x 9” and 1” x 12”.
Sapele
Widely used for furniture, joinery, shop-fitting etc. As with Iroko we stock random specifications in 1” to 4,” as well as some fixed sizes.

Red Deal
Scandinavia and Russia are the sources for our finest quality Red Deal for use in joinery and furniture. We carry a range of fixed sizes as set out below.
Cedar
Western red Cedar shipping dry: the most suitable timber for exterior cladding, fencing, etc. The timber has a natural resistance to weather and insect attack. Sizes in the table below.
Southern Yellow Pine
Generally straight but uneven grained with a medium texture. Yellowish white sapwood and reddish brown, orange, or yellow heartwood. Used for structural timber, structural grade plywood, building construction, boxes, baskets, crates, cooperage, pallets, millwork, woodenware, novelties, boat building, and applications requiring hardness and good wearing qualities. Honduras Pitch Pine
Has very distinctive, red heartwood, and yellow sapwood. The grain is shallowly interlocked and is used for structural timber, furniture and joinery. Sizes in the table below. |

Pine board offers the ultimate in tailor-made components designed for the joinery and furniture industries. The widest range of planed and profiled sections, both in redwood and whitewood, is available. We carry a standard stock range of sizes, however alternative sizes can be manufactured in bale quantities. |
